My trip ended up having an unexpected theme. Sports, Israel, and Jewish athletes.

One night that captured it perfectly was watching Israel take on the Netherlands at the World Baseball Classic

A friend sent me tickets. Great seats. The kind where you can really feel the game.

Baseball crowds have a certain rhythm. But when Israel plays, the energy feels different. Israeli flags in the stands. Hebrew in the crowd. People cheering every pitch like it is October.

My trip had already been filled with moments connected to Israeli athletes and Jewish pride in sports. Watching Israel beat the Netherlands ended up being the icing on the cake.

There is something special about seeing that flag on a jersey. Especially in an international tournament. Every hit and every run brings a little extra noise from the crowd wearing blue and white.

It turned into one of those nights where sports and identity blend together. A baseball game on paper. A proud moment for a lot of people in the stands.

I had a photo with harsh shadows across my face from direct sunlight, and the free tool on the Remove Shadow site handled it surprisingly well. The interface is straightforward—just upload and let the AI do its thing. It didn't completely erase the shadow but softened it enough to look natural. I’d say give it a shot if you’re dealing with similar lighting issues. Try the shadow remover
